Don’t Perpetuate Mistakes

Scripture reference: “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past” (Isaiah 43:18).




Satan seeks to perpetuate the mistakes of our parents. We must be on guard. We must reflect on the very things that marred our parents’ marriages and avoid them. Don’t make the mistake of your father. You know how anger, selfishness, and alcohol kept you from enjoying a great home while growing up. Then, with wisdom, you should avoid it. Don’t allow Satan to make it a generational curse.

Dear lady, don’t repeat your mother’s mistake. You know how her tongue almost turned the home into shreds. Why not learn from it and build a better home. In fact, if there is any way to give them joy, it’s in building a better home.

I pray for you today, in case there is any storm in your home that God’s intervention will bring down the storm. I declare God’s great intervention right now. Things will not get worse for you. Things will get better. Amen.

Daily digest: We need to recognize what is happening and make a conscious decision to, with God’s help, create a new, positive family heritage.

Prayer: Father, I thank you for I am wonderfully made to show forth your glory in my life. I repent from any sin and openings that have introduced error into my life and destiny. Today I bind the spirit of error and mistake. I shall not be a victim of the errors of others. I shall also not be a victim of any evil circumstance in Jesus' name.
