Walk Over Disappointment and Discouragement

Scripture Reference: “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:9 NKJV.

Nothing encourages your faith and walk with God like receiving an answer to prayer. It is a major faith-booster. Satan hates that. He, therefore, uses disappointments, delays and failure to frustrate people’s faith in God. To make it look like God is not there. As if He does not care.

It was easier for David to believe that God would deliver Goliath into his teenage hands because of what God had done for him in the past with the lion and the bear at the backside of the desert. That experience boosted his faith in God. The devil does not like to see that. So, he tries to frustrate your faith and hope in God while you are still there awaiting the manifestation of the answer to your prayers.

When you are discouraged, the attack is on your faith. If you give in to it, you begin to doubt God’s love, ability and willingness to come through for you. When that happens, a believer begins to sink! That is when they begin to lie, cheat and compromise because they just want to survive. So, watch it!

Discouragement is an attack on your soul. Beware!
