Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali Bags Chieftaincy Title

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali is now a chief in his hometown in Rivers State.

Nwabali, who guided Nigeria to the 2024 AFCON finals with remarkable saves, was bestowed with the honorific title of Ugo Egbema, "The Pride of Egbema Kingdom," by His Royal Majesty, Nzeobi Evaristus Amida, the traditional ruler of Mgbede community in Egbema Kingdom.

The monarch stated that the goalkeeper was bestowed with the title in recognition of the honor he has brought to his community.

Stanley was earlier honored by his state governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

He was rewarded with a state honor alongside a N20 million gift.
