A Peacemaker is Rewarded

When you help people settle their disputes you are a child of God.
If you are someone who loves making peace with people, note that you are blessed because you are a child of God.
Yes, because, “Curse” is the direct opposite of “Bless”. If for instance you don’t call me a tall guy, then I am a short.
The bible in Matthew 5: 9 says, “God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God” (NLT).
Working for peace does not necessarily have to mean working in a Peace Mission, or a Red Cross Unit.
You are working for peace when you help settle that fight between two siblings or some friends.
Are you helping to solve the matter or you are looking for a way to add more fire to the problem.
The bible says, those who work for peace are blessed because they are called children of God.
Who is a child of God? A child of God is a Christian or anyone who serves God and obeys His commandments as given in the Holy Book.
I have often given this illustration of relationship between a child and a father. As a child, by inheritance you own everything that belongs to your father.
This is why you are blessed when you are a child of God because you own everything He has.
You are child of God when you are a peacemaker.
