See What Will Happen To The Unrepentant Sinner

Category: City Pastor's Teachings

“I brought hunger to every city and famine to every town. But still you would not return to me” says the Lord. “I kept the rain from falling when your crops needed it most. I sent rain on one town but withheld it from another. Rain fall on one field, while another field withered away. People staggered from town to town looking for water, but there was never enough. But still you would not return to me,” Says the Lord. Amos 4:6-8 (NLT)

Oh unrepentant sinner, murderers, jealous and envious neighbors, liars, cheats, prostitutes, how much more signs do you need from God for you to change from your sinful ways of life. He said He has punished you with disease, set-backs, and many bad things of life but you would not change.

Amos 4:9 (NLT), “I struck your farms and vineyards with blight mildew. Locusts devoured all your figs and olive trees (your houses burnt, your cars had accident, you lost your jobs), but still you would not return to me” says the Lord. (With all of these punishments and disasters that the Lord has brought upon you, you still refuse to be repentant, you refuse to acknowledge the Almighty God”

He says, “I sent plagues (diseases) on you like the plagues I sent on Egypt long ago. I killed your young men in war and led all your horses away. The stench of death filled the air! (So much disasters). But still you would not return to me,” says the Lord. I destroyed some of your cities, as I destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Those of you who survived were like charred sticks pulled from a fire. But still you would not return to me,” says the Lord.” Amos 4:9-11 (NLT)

So, sometimes the trials, tribulations, and negative situations you are facing are meant to change you and bring you back to God. I used to be a sinner; I used to be a fornicator, an adulterer, a cultist. God punished me with stagnation and great financial lose and I ran to Him in repentance, He has forgiven me and now I am enjoying the benefits of His blessing.

Therefore I can tell you about sin, and you should be able to listen to me. Sin does not pay. I thank God for opening my eyes. He allowed my enemies to oppress me, He allowed me to be stagnated so that I can repent. Now I am enjoying His blessing, such that if I bless you, you will be blessed and if I place a curse on you, you are cursed. That is the grace that God has given to me as His child and His servant.

The challenge most of us undergo is unwillingness to repent of our sins or refusal to take corrections when God is correcting us. Most people enjoy living in sin; they love the envious lifestyle, wicked and sinful ways.

“Therefore, I will bring upon you all the disasters I have announced. Prepare to meet your God in judgment, you people of Israel” Amos 4: 12 (NLT)

You can only meet God during judgment and that is when you have died. And it will be a pity if you are to die with all these sins because the judgment cannot be in your favor.

When God has tried you with all these things and you still don’t return to Him, you will meet Him face to face for your eternal judgment.

I pray you will not die in sin, in Jesus name. “For the Lord is the one who shaped the mountains, stirs up the winds, and reveals His thoughts to mankind. He turns the light of dawn into darkness and treads on the heights of the earth. The Lord God of Heaven’s Armies is His name!” Amos 4:13
