228 Dead, Over 100,000 Infected as Flu Hits Australia

At least 228 Australians have been killed and over 100,000 people have been infected so far during this year's flu season.

The latest life claimed was of a young Victorian father, who had been immunized from the virus before falling ill. Health authorities say this year is one of the most severe seasons on record.
