They alleged that the man who brought in the soldiers is a friend to the people he brought the soldiers to arrest.

According to them, the problem started some weeks ago when the man who brought the soldiers allegedly broke into his friend's house on Gideon street where he was believed to have stolen the phone in question. He was accosted and the phone taken from him, but they said the same person who stole the phone called in the two soldiers to help him retrieve the phone.

The youths in the community however questioned the rights of the soldiers in dealing with civil matters when there is a police station in the community.

They therefore prevented them from leaving the community with the seized phone.
