I’m Being Bullied Online – Lizzy Anjorin Cries Out

Lizzy Anjorin, a prominent figure in Nollywood and business, has voiced her distress over being "targeted for bullying" by certain blogs.

In early February, there were reports alleging that Anjorin had committed theft of gold in a market located on Lagos Island.

The actress refuted the accusations, asserting that the situation was a "setup" targeting her.

Subsequently, the actress made headlines again due to a land dispute case involving her husband, Lateef Lawal.

According to court papers obtained by journalists, another actress named Faith Ojo has included Lateef Lawal, Anjorin's husband, in a lawsuit for the demolition of structures on her property.

Ojo is seeking N30 million in damages and requests that the defendants cover legal expenses.

She additionally requests a permanent injunction to prevent them from entering or developing the land.

Ojo authenticated the allegations as accurate via her Instagram page on Monday.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, expressing her frustration over the allegations, the actress singled out certain blogs for what she described as "bullying me with fake stories."

"I can't endure working in this toxic environment, only to be subjected to bullying through the promotion of fabricated stories," reads a segment of the post.

On February 9, the police brought six traders before a court, charging them with allegedly assaulting and blackmailing Anjorin.

A.A. Paul, the magistrate overseeing the case, approved bail for each defendant at the amount of N200,000, along with one surety each, who must be residents of Lagos and provide proof of tax payment.

He directed that the defendants remain in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Services until they fulfill their bail conditions.

The court scheduled the next hearing for March 11.
