Olufemi Hakeem Gbajabiamila CFR, is a Nigerian lawyer and politician, who has served as Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria since 2019. Currently appointed Chief of Staff to the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to assume office on June 14, 2023.

He is the Speaker of the Nigeria 9th House of Representatives, under the All Progressives Congress (APC). He was born on June 25, 1962.

Gbajabiamila attended Igbobi College in Yaba, Lagos, King William's College on the Isle of Man, United Kingdom, Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, United States, and the University of Lagos in Lagos.

He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2003, he is serving his fifth term in the House of Representatives, representing the Surulere I Constituency of Lagos State in the House of Representatives. He became the Speaker of the House of Representation in 2019.






During the 7th Assembly, Gbajabiamila was the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives. He also headed of the House of Representatives ad hoc committee investigating claims by the Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) that N140.9B (about $1B), which was owed by 'Zenon Petroleum & Gas Limited' and 'Forte Oil Plc' was paid. The House adhoc, head by Gbajabiamila was to verify the claims by AMCON that the Femi Otedola-owned two companies have paid back the money which the government of Nigeria paid for petroleum products reportedly not delivered as agreed upon by the dictates of the government's fuel subsidy scheme.

He was elected speaker in the 9th National Assembly, House of Representative, with 283 vote, while his opponent Mohammed Umar Bago, came Second with 78 votes.
