See How The Wicked Will Die
“The mighty man has been destroyed. Yes, your insolence is ended. For the Lord has crushed your wicked power and broken your evil rule” Isaiah 14:4B-5 (NLT)
Many rulers forgets that they were once not rulers and if they had been subjected to inhumane treatments they mete on others, the chances is that they probably wouldn't have gotten to the positions which gave them so much power to treat others so inhumanely.

Some leaders kill innocent citizens in thousands, we have heard of those that have tried to wipe out an entire tribe. Many have oppressed and squandered resources meant for an entire nation, using it for their individual selfish purposes.
Hear what God is saying to you:
"You struck the people with endless blows of rage and held the nations in your angry grip with unrelenting tyranny. But finally the earth is at rest and quiet. Now it can sing again!? Isaiah 14:6-7
Therefore, regardless of how much oppression or hardship you deal on your people, they people you have been elected or crowned to lead, their day of rest will come. On the day the Lord will avenge His people.
"In the place of the dead there is excitement over your arrival. The spirits of world leaders and mighty kings long dead stand up to see you. With one voice they will cry out, 'Now you are as weak as we are! Your might and power were buried with you. The sound of harp in your palace has ceased. Now maggots are your sheet, and worm your blanket!" Isaiah 14: 9-11
Interesting, isn't it? Other leaders, who had died, both those who were oppressed by you and the ones that were your allies, all will be happy at your arrival in the land of the spirits. The word of God remains alive forever!
Pride is the reason for many sin, many have exalted themselves close to God, they are proud of their achievements especially when they are leaders therefore sinning against God. How can one individual imagine wiping out an entire tribe created by God? It is pride that brings such thoughts which leads to murder. Pride causes jealousy and murder!
Why should you starve people created by God when God has made resources available that could have gone round everyone while only you and your family live fat on riches meant for an entire people?
Listen to this, it should make you repent: "Everyone there will stare at you and ask, ‘can this be the one who shook the earth and made kingdoms of the world tremble? Is this the king who demolished the world’s greatest cities and had no mercy on his prisoners" Isaiah 14: 16-17 (NLT)
Just the same way we ask questions when we watch or hear the death of a wicked leader. God is a true God indeed and His words remain alive forever.
It is always a sad ending for the wicked. The end of the wicked is with no glory regardless of how highly placed they might have been placed before their death. It is true that when we die, we become nothing, we are helpless and our spirit very quiet, but many still get a decent burial and even their own spirit will be happy inside their graves. But hear what the word of God is saying about the soul of the wicked:
"The kings of the nations lie in stately glory, each in his own tomb, but you will be thrown out of your grave like a worthless branch. Like a corpse trampled underfoot, you will be dumped into a mass grave with those killed in battle. You will not be given a proper burial, for you have destroyed your nation and slaughtered your people. The descendants of such an evil person will never again receive honor" Isaiah 14:18-20 (NLT)
These predictions of several thousands of years are happening right now in our generation. Many have been buried without honor, buried under the sea, or in a desert where no one knows or attended the burial rite, no burial rites, and no honor for a deserving life spent in spite of their world-wide fame. Even their own families have refused to associate with them, their nations rejected their bodies. They die like dogs without an honor that is the ending of a wicked person.
The bible did not stop with the death of the wicked person went ahead in Isaiah 14:21, "Kill this man's children! Let them die because of their father's sins! They must not rise and conquer the earth, filling the world with their cities"
I believe this happened recently in some places across the world. How best would the bible have predicted this! He said in Isaiah 14:24B, "It will happen as I have planned. It will be as I have decided"
"The Lord of Heaven's Armies have spoken- who can change His plans? When His hand is raised, who can stop Him" Isaiah 14: 27 (NLT)
And finally for the people who have been oppressed
When one of such wicked people dies, the bible said people should not rejoice, why? "Do not rejoice that the rod that struck you is broken- that the king who attacked you is dead. For from the snake a more poisonous snake will be born, a fiery serpent to destroy you!" Isaiah 14:29
