UK Cable TV, Sky Removes NTA From Its Platform

Sky, a United Kingdom’s leading cable TV platform, has barred the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) from its platform indefinitely.

A message on Sky’s website read in part, “794: NTA International; currently temporarily removed from EPG (Electronic Programme Guide).”

The suspension of NTA International came to public knowledge barely 24 hours after the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) revoked the licences of Africa Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower 100.5FM.

Sky Limited is a British media and telecommunications conglomerate owned by Comcast and headquartered in London, with operations in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Spain.
