Three Killed at California Ford Dealership After Gunman Who Was Fired Returns to Shoot Dead Two Colleagues Before Killing Himself

A disgruntled employee has shot dead two colleagues at a Ford dealership in the San Francisco Bay Area before turning the gun on himself.

Police received multiple 911 calls at about 6.03pm Tuesday evening after the shooter opened fire in the service department of the dealership in Morgan Hill, southeast of San Jose.

Doug MacGlashan, who was hired by the dealership for the day to train employees on new software, told KRON-TV that a parts department representative who had been fired that day apparently went outside, got a gun and returned to shoot the two employees.

The service and parts director 'had just fired a parts rep that he had said he was going to fire earlier in the day. And I guess the parts rep went outside, got a gun, went into the service and parts director's office and shot him', MacGlashan said.

Macglashan said the suspect wouldn't leave the premises after he was fired.

'About 10, 15 minutes later, gunshots,' he said. 'It's just scarier than hell. I'm not used to hearing gunshots, I'm not used to being around this type of violence. So it's just scary.'

The man also killed the parts manager, he said.
