Ned Nwoko

Prince Chinedu (Ned) Munir Nwoko is a Nigerian lawyer, politician and businessman. He was a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives between 1999 and 2003. He represented Aniocha North-South and Oshimili North-South of Delta State, Nigeria.




Ned Nwoko was born on December 21, 1960 into the Royal Palace at Idumuje-Ugboko, in Aniocha North LGA, Delta State. His heritage and environment allowed him to excel in academic and professional achievements.


Nwoko got his first degree in Law and History from the University of Keele in Staffordshire, United Kingdom, followed by King's College London where he graduated with a Masters in Law. He got his honorary doctorate from the Commonwealth University College in Belize.

Nwoko set up and maintained one of the leading law firms in the UK, where he claims to have practiced as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. However, he cannot be found on the law society database as registered solicitor in the U.K.

He is a Senior Consultant with Ned Nwoko Solicitors, a London-based law firm engaged in management and verification of foreign debts of third world countries, including their component states. He also served on the Vision 2010 Committee and is a member of the capital market. He served as Chairman of the External Committee of Vision 2010.

He is married with children, although his first son, Tarik, died in 2014 at the age of 22.

In recent news, Ned is rumored to have married teenage actress, Regina Daniel, his response to the alleged rumor is that he is a Muslim and entitled to marry many wives

Nwoko is a Muslim from the southern part of Nigeria.
