Largest Bed in World History- King Og of Bashan Bed
Bed of King Og of Bashan, who was the last survivor of the giant Rephaites
back in the time of the Israelites in the Bible, when the people of God had
left Egypt and wandered around the wilderness for 40 years, before the Lord
gave them victory.
One of the kings they conquered and took over his territory was King Og of
Bashan
His bed was made of iron and was more than thirteen feet long and six feet
wide that is more almost half the size of a standard (modern bedroom).
Deuteronomy 3: 11
The bed can still be seen in the Ammonite city of Rabbah (now capital of
Jordan, Amman).
