How to Make Egusi (Mellon) Soup



Ingredients needed

Melon, meat, pepper, onions, seasoning, pumpkin, crayfish, palm oil and stock fish.

Method of preparation

Use a pot to heat the oil, clean the stock fish and boil in another pot with onions till soft, add the meat to it and allow to boil for 30 minutes. Then add onions, pepper, seasoning, grind melon, and crayfish to the heated oil and allow to steam for 1 minute. Pour the cooked ingredients into the fried ones and allow to boil for 10 minutes. Add pumpkin and salt to taste and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
