Gov. Ganduje At Armed Forces Remembrance Day at Mallam Kato Square in Kano (Pictures)



The Governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje attended the Armed Forces Remembrance Day of January 15th held at Mallam Kato Square in Kano in honor of Nigerian fallen heroes.

During the occasion, the state governor inspected the guard of honor, and led service chiefs in the State to laying of the wreath in honor of those who sacrificed their lives to keep Nigeria one.

Ganduje also did the traditional releasing of white pigeons along with the service chiefs before going round to greet members of the Nigerian legion, retired soldiers in the state.



In his remarks, the Governor thanked men and women in uniform for their sacrifices to the nation, and urged people in Kano to continue to embrace peace and love one another for the development of the state and Nigeria at large.
