Charles Adedayo OLUYORI

Adedayo Charles OLUYORI, is the CEO and founder of ACKCITY Enterprises. He is also the Publisher of ACKCITY News at ackcitynews.com and Echoes magazine. He is an Entrepreneur, with vast knowledge of business consultancy and media management. He is also a former Banker with one of the defunct Skye Bank Plc.

Charles hails from Kabba, Kogi State of Nigeria, a nephew to late Bishop Onaolapo.

He attended Government Science Secondary School, Abaji in Abuja the Capital of Nigeria from 1990 to 1995.

Later attended the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Kaduna State of Nigeria from 1998 to 2002 where he graduated with a bachelors degree in Geography, and later served at the Ondo State Ministry of Works, Akure from 2003 to 2004.

While serving at Akure, Charles started a monthly entertainment magazine, "In the Cab". In the Cab was read by corpers in Akure and residents of Awule area of Akure in Ondo State, the magazine also had a few readers in Lokoja, Kogi State capital.

Between January 2004 and January 2005, Charles worked with the Managing Editor of Kogi Affairs Newspaper to compile and edit Biography of Personalities in Nigeria and Kogi State for the NUJ's Millennium Personalities in Nigeria and Kogi State (A Biography directory for Nigerians). Here he developed his writing and journalism skills.
 

He later joined the service of Skye Bank Plc., Lagos where he worked as an Investigation & Communications/External Relations Officer under the Head of Inspection Group of  defunct Skye Bank.

Upon leaving Skye Bank, Charles founded ACKCITY Enterprises; a Business Consultancy and Communication/Media Management company. ACKCITY is the publisher of Echoes magazine.

Charles has also worked in some volunteering capacities, he was the first ever Project Manager for the Transform Nigeria Initiative project in Nigeria, Lagos chapter. He also worked as an Editorial assistant for a popular online story website- Naija Stories.

He attended the Ebedi International Writers' Residency Program in Oyo State, Nigeria from October to December 2010.

He is also a pastor with the New Light Covenant Church, a Pentecostal church in Lagos. .

Charles has written several short stories and novels online. He is a major contributor of stories on ACKCITY, City of God and ACKCITY News.

His personal vision is to impact the world through his writing and media.
