Bode George to go on Exile if APC Wins Presidential Election

Category: Nigerian National News

Chief Bode George, a chieftain of PDP and close associate of former Nigeria president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo in an interview with Punch, said if APC wins, he would go on exile as Bola Tinubu does not have the temerity and calmness of mind.

Bode George who was on an interview over allegations made by the former governor of Lagos State, Ahmed Bola Tinubu that his house was being surrounded by some military men, said, that Bola Tinubu must be dreaming when he said soldiers had surrounded his house.

According to him, “I drove down there because my house is not far from there. I know the hierarchy of the military and its behavior. That they surrounded his house is lie number one because on either side of his house are two buildings. There is also one at the back. So, I wondered where the soldiers were hiding”

He added that when he got there, he knew that spin doctors of Tinubu were at work. He asked why President Jonathan from Abuja would be running after Tinubu? “People just go on the internet and post stories which go viral”.

“I will go on exile if Bola Tinubu finds his way into national government” he added, “He hasn’t the temerity and calmness of mind. They don’t even know what to do in power. Because the vice-president is his boy, he will just order that Bode George should be picked up.”

Bode George said “If Obasanjo is now linking Jonathan with what happened in Cote d’Ivoire and coup; not in this 21st century. That is past and gone forever. No nation goes through this kind of tribulation twice and survives. We have had our own experience of civil war and I pray God does not direct our minds in that direction and our people have to watch their mouth”.
