Why Buhari Could Not Pay N27 Million APC Presidential Canditate Form

A lot of people have been wondering why Muhammadu Buhari couldn't afford to pay N27m for APC presidential candidate form as a former Head of State, since all all past Nigerian Head of States and Presidents receives about N300million per annum from the Federal Government as salary (pension and other entitlements). N23 million per month.
In the tweet above, a lady questioned Buhari's integrity which made Daniel Melaye (Dino) carry out an investigation, which revealed that Buhari has never collected the said amount of money, being paid to past presidents. Buhari was said to have claimed that it is wrong for him to be collecting such BIG money when many Nigerians are poor and government is not doing much to better their lives.
According to Dino, Buhari wrote to the Minister of Finance requesting that he should only be paid 10% of the N23m they give all past presidents as monthly salary. That means, while other ex-Nigerian Presidents and Heads of State are getting N23million monthly, Buhari gets only N2.3million.
