PHOTOS: LASTMA official allegedly beats motorist to convulsion

LAGOS- According to reports, a LASTMA official (pictured), this morning at about 7:30am stopped a moving car and assaulted the driver who the official claimed violated traffic rules.
The incident happened at Ketu bus-stop. Some eye witnesses said, the LASTMA official, Asorona, stopped the car and with the help of his colleagues, pulled out the driver from the car.
The driver was allegedly beaten up until he fell to the ground. Eye-witness accounts said, the young driver whose name is unknown started convulsing upon hitting the ground.
When Asorona noticed that the driver was convulsing, he attempted to leave the scene of incidence, but was stopped by passersby who insisted he had to stay until the driver recovered.
