The perpetrators of the Ejigbo sodomy incident, involving two women being severely tortured and sodomized for stealing pepper worth N50, were paraded on February 25, 2014, Tuesday.

The occurred in February 2012, and the video went viral on the internet. Initial police denied knowledge and existence of such case, but after it was seriously taken up human rights group, the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Mohammed Abubakar, took
the investigation under personal control.
Human Rights and Activists groups want
death penalty for the gang.
