Stephanie Okereke Linus

Stephanie Okereke is a Nigerian actress, film director, writer, producer and model. She is the CEO of Next Page Productions and Co-founder of DEL YORK International, a media and marketing communications company.

She was born on October 2 1982 in Ngor-Okpala, Imo State of Nigeria to a family of eight where she is the sixth child.

Stephanie attended both primary and secondary schools at Delta State, South-South Nigeria and later went to University of Calabar where she studied English and Literary Studies and graduated in 2004.

She started her acting career in 1997 with “Compromise 2” and “Waterloo”. Ever since, she had become a household name in the Nigeria’s movie industry, the Nollywood.


In 2002 she won the second place in “The Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria” Beauty Pageant. She also won “Reel awards best actress English” and “Reel award best actress of the year” in 2003.

She won Afro Hollywood award for Best Actress in 2006.

In April 2009, Stephanie was honored with a jewel award at the 6th annual Africa Goodwill awards for her positive representation of African women through her charity work and her movie career.

With over 90 films to her name, Stephanie Okereke is continually building her brand in the movie industry.

Stephanie first married former Super Eagles football player Chikelue Iloenyosi, but the marriage was dissolved by a high court in Lagos in 2012 because Chikelue was already married legally to another woman in the United States.


In April 2012 she re-married Linus Idahosa in Paris, France, at a private wedding ceremony.
