Teniola Apata popularly known by her stage name as Teni is a fast rising Nigerian singer, songwriter, drummer, stage performer, recording artist and an entertainer. She was born on 12th December 1992 in Lagos, Nigeria but she is a native of Ilesa in Osun State of Nigeria. Teni is the younger sister of popular Nigerian singer Niniola.






Teni started her professional singing career in 2016 under the Magic Fingers Records, owned by Shizzi. She however came into limelight in 2017 after releasing her hit single "Fargin", under Dr Dolor Entertainment. She had her breakthrough after releasing the hit singles "Askamaya", "Case" and "Uyo Meyo". "Askamaya" was ranked 15th on MTV Base's year-end list of the Top 20 Hottest Naija Tracks of 2018.

She attended American Intercontinental University in United States and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

She has worked with great Nigerian artistes like Shizzi, Phyno, Davido and many others. 

Her top hits include; Fargin, Wait, Askamaya, Lagos, Amen, Pareke, Fake Jersey, Shake Am, Like Dad, Billionaire,  Uyo Meyo, and others. 

She sings in Yoruba and pidgin English.


In March, 2019, Teni signed an endorsement deal with Tom Tom, a candy brand produced by Cadbury Nigeria

She's believe to be worth upto $500,000
