We Have Not Endorsed Any Aspirant For 2019 Election– CAN

The President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Samson Ayokunle, has refuted the alleged report in some online media platforms: “CAN says no vacancy in Aso Rock, endorses Buhari, Oshiomhole”.

The CAN president said this in a statement signed by Adebayo Oladeji, Special Assistant, Media & Communications to the CAN President, on Wednesday in Abuja

Mr Oladeji quoted the leadership of CAN as saying that the report was issued by a political movement, ‘Change Advocates of Nigeria (CAN),’ with the same acronym, CAN.

He said that CAN as a Christian body has not endorsed President Buhari or any other presidential aspirant for election. He, however, urged the general public to discountenance the claim because it did not emanate from Christian Association of Nigeria at all.
