Photo: Storey Building Collapses; Kill Baby and Injure Many In Lagos

A baby have been reportedly killed in storey building collapse this morning at  Seidu Okeleji street, Meiran, Lagos.

The incident occurred during restriction of movement Saturday morning as Lagosians observe the Local Government Elections.

 

Unfortunately, all the occupants of the building were also indoor as there was heavy rainfall all through the morning, which prevented most people from coming out.

 

According to reports, officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, and others have been  on ground to rescue trapped people. The area has also been condoned off. 

 

The baby was initially rescued alive, but died shortly after due to injuries sustained.
