Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa: The Prime Minister of the First Republic, between October 1st 1960 and January 15th, 1966. He was born in 1912 and died in 1966.

General J.T.U. Aguiyi- Ironsi: The First Military Head of State, between January 15th 1966 and July 29th 1966

General Yakubu Gowon: The Second Head of State and youngest Head of State of Nigeria. He was Head of States between 1966 and 1975. He was born in 1934

General Murtala Mohammed: The Third Military Head of States of Nigeria between 29th July 1975 and February 13, 1976. He was born in 1938 and died on 13th February 1976.

General Olusegun Obasanjo: The Fourth Military Head of States between 1976 and 1979. He was born in 1937

Alhaji Shehu Shagar: The First Executive President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, between October 1st 1979 and December 3, 1983. He was born in 1925.

General Muhammadu Buhari: Head of States, between 1983 and 1985. He was born on December 17, 1942.

General Ibrahim Babangida: The Nigerian Military President, between 27 August 1985 and 26 August 1993. He was born in 1941

Chief Ernest Shonekan: The Interim President of Nigeria, between 26th August, 1993 and 17th November 1993.

General Sani Abacha: The Head of State of Nigeria, between 19th November 1993 and 8th June 1998. He was born in 1943 and died on June 8, 1998.

General Abudulsalam Abubakar: The Head of State from June 8, 1998 and May 29, 1999. He was born in 194

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo: The National President of Nigeria, between May 29, 1999 and May 29, 2007

Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar’Adua: The National President of Nigeria from May 29, 2007 and May 5, 2010. He died in office at the age of 59

Goodluck Jonathan: The National President of Nigeria from May 6, 2010 to May 29th 2015. He was the Vice President and became the Acting President. He later became the President after the death of Yar’Adua, and afterwards contested and won the 2011 Presidential election.

President Muhammadu Buhari: The president of Nigeria from May 29th, 2015 to date. He is the first president under the All Progressives Party (APC), he was Head of States, between 1983 and 1985. He was born on December 17, 1942.
