The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje attended the National Youth Week celebrations to mark the International
Youth Day, held at Sani Abacha Stadium, kofar Mata in the city of Kano on August 12th.
Ganduje was among many other spectators who watched the match pass organized by several youth groups in the state. He was given an award by the National Youth Council of
Nigeria during the event.
The
International Youth day is celebrated each year on August 12th as
declared by the United Nations. The theme for 2016 Youth Celebration Day is captioned: "The Road to 2030,
Eradicating Poverty and achieving Sustainable Consumption and
Production"
