Bishop Onaolapo’s Corpse Arrives Nigeria

Category: News About Pastors & Men of God

Corpse of the late bishop, founder of the Abundant Life Gospel Churches with Headquarters in Agege area of Lagos arrives Nigeria from United States on Wednesday. He will be buried on November 1st and 2nd at the church premises of the Abundant Life Gospel Church, Lagos where he pastored for several years.

Bishop Kola Onaolapo was in London on a crusade when we took ill and was flown to United States where he passed on. He is survived by his wife, Rev. Mrs. Janet Onaolapo and their three children.

Some members of the Abundant Life Gospel Church, Lagos said this about the late bishop;
Patience Onaolapo: “He affected many lives positively. He was a man of vision, faith, strength and authority. Words are no enough to summarize your enigmatic and profound personality. We wish to have you with us always but God wants you with Him. We believe you are where neither moths nor rots can corrupt. We submit to your will Lord, though it’s still a jigsaw!”

Shodiya Olawale: “Daddy BKO thought me one principle of life, that if you are not informed you will be deformed, that word always rang bell in my ears every day, to seek for information that will move my generation. I remember during a Sunday service while he was preaching, he said, ‘some dead speaks more than the living’… we never wish to lose you but we submit to the will of God… our daddy, bishop, my role model, you will remain a voice for the world… BKO shall speak always as if you are here.

Olaitan Sobulo: “Daddy lives on… because his good works can never be forgotten. How can I ever forget his smiles! His fatherly counsels, his messages of hope!! Such a rare gem, a great apostle of faith. Rest in the bosom of your maker

Olatunde Ojumu: “I gave my life to God under him, that day his message was on, “finding a life-long friend that never fails”. His smiles, it was a SMILE…in a generation where there are too many fake smiles; he was just too plain to offer a fake smile. He had a true minister’s heart in a generation where ministers only think of what they can get. He always encourages his followers to fast, focus on building the kingdom, build it faster, build it bigger and build it now that was his message. I have known many instructors in my journey of life but Bishop Onaolapo is like a father to me, I say thank you.

His body will arrive Lagos from United States of America on Wednesday and will be buried in his church premise.
