APC Crisis: Yoruba APC Leaders Boycott Party National Meeting

**VP Osinbajo, Asiwaju Tinubu, Chief Akande and old Prominent ACN leaders stayed away from APC NEC meeting in Abuja.

The crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has gone out of control as former governor of Lagos state and the National leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former interim national chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande, the embattled Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo have boycotted the National Executive Committee (NEC) at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.


The speculation about whether Tinubu is a member of the NEC, have been put to rest by Hope For Nigeria, as other party leaders like Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, Dr. Niyi Adebayo, and Dr. Chris Ngige are all into the meeting.


Chief Akande being a former national chairman of the party, is automatically a member of NEC. He have been vocal about the under-ground activities of Northern APC leaders who folded their hands when the South was working to ensure that Buhari wins the Presidential election, jumping out now to push the Yoruba party leaders away.

The Vice President who have undergone series of humiliation by Buhari's private security and Northern APC leaders, also stayed away from the meeting.
