The Son of late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Chief Emeka Ojukwu (Jnr) has picked the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) nomination and expression of Interest forms form for the 2015 general elections.

Others who picked the party’s nomination and expression of Interest forms are Chief Mike Nkwocha,former Chief whip of the Anambra State House of Assembly Hon. Barr. Uchenna Okonkwo – Okom, Barr. Onyemaobi Ochiagha Chuks, among others.

Speaking to 247ureports.com shortly after purchasing his form, Ojukwu said he was going to the federal House to bring about quality Representation which according to him, had eluded the people of Nnewi North and Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency.

Chief Ojukwu, who is currently the sole administrator of Nnewi North local council area Vowed if elected, to make laws that would promote the Interest of the Youths.

He expressed confidence that the party will perform creditably in the 2015 general elections but stressed that apart from the presidential poll, the party would field candidates for other positions.


He lauded the leadership of the party under Chief Victor Umeh, saying that the party would achieve greater heights under Umeh.

For their part, the former Chief whip of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Uchenna Okonkwo – Okom ;Barr. Onyemaobi Ochiagha Chuks ;Chief Mike Nkwocha (Aguiyi – Enugwu-ukwu) ;Mr. Chukwudi uzoewulu said they were prevailed upon by the people of their areas to contest in upcoming general elections.

According to them, their areas had suffered poor representation in the past and also in the recent political dispensation noting that they seek to lay a solid foundation that will last.

“The federal constituency is rich in natural resources and we want to see how they can be harnessed for the good of their people ‘ they said.

Also speaking, Nkwocha, a legal practitioner said he was vying for the Anaocha, Dunukofia and Njikoka Federal Constituency to give the people “effective and people-oriented representation.”

Nkwocha, who is currently the President-General of Enugwu-Ukwu community of Anambra, promised that if elected he would galvanise other political parties into joining APGA.

“As a grassroots man and experienced politician, it is important that I contest to ensure victory for our national chairman, Chief Victor Umeh who is contesting the Anambra Central Senatorial seat.
“If Umeh loses, it will be a disgrace to APGA because he is the face of the party.

“We have a dynamic and performing Governor who needs people who can assist in advancing his good works at Abuja and that person is me,” he said.

He however said legislations on erosion, road construction and rehabilitation as well as provision of water and jobs for youths would be his priority if nominated as candidate and subsequently elected.
 Meanwhile, the majority leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Harford Ikechukwu Oseke member representing Awka South II ;Hon Barr. Rita Maduagwu member representing Nnewi South II ; Hon. Ikemfuna Uzoezie member representing Aguata all; Hon Beverly Nkemdiche Ikpeazu member representing Onitsha South ll and Hon Ify Onyebumuo member representing Njikoka ll at the Anambra State House of Assembly all came to submit their purchased nomination and expression of Interest forms.
